Salvation is by faith alone.   Trusting in your good works won't get you into Heaven, it will guarantee your place in Hell!

Salvation is by faith through grace.   Christ DIED for your sins.   He paid the ultimate sacrifice.   How can you think that you can add to His PERFECT work on the cross by teaching that salvation is by faith + works?   His work was PERFECT, how can you add to it with your IMPERFECT works?

You CAN know for sure that you are saved!   What "sin of presumption?"   St. John says that these things are written that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life...

Is 'tradition' of equal authority with the Bible?  What if the traditions contradict the Bible?

What does the Bible say about a Christian who lords over other Christians (such as the Pope)?

Calling the pope "holy father" is blasphemy against God. (It is tantamount to calling him God.)
The pope has blasphemous titles. (According to his titles, he usurps the place of each member of the Trinity!!)

The Roman Catholic Mass/Transubstination

Mary and the saints do NOT serve as an in - between between you and God, for it is written that there is but one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Is bowing to saints Christian?  Take, for instance, Cornelius, who bowed to Peter (the supposed first pope).  Did Peter commend him and tell him that such was right and proper?  NO, he rebuked him and told him to:

STAND UP; I MYSELF ALSO AM A MAN.   Acts 10:26

Is Mary your mediator? How about your co-redeemer or your advocate?   Can she hear your prayers?   Did she remain a virgin after she gave birth to Jesus?   What do the Holy Scriptures say?
Immaculate Conception of Mary   Roman Catholic Church teaches that Mary was sinless!!!!

The Un-Holy Inquisition The real reason behind Rome's Inquisition was power and money.  If people refused to follow Catholicism's damnable doctrines, they were burnt and their property confiscated.

Foxes Book of Martyrs - Roman Catholicism murdered multitudes of "heriticks" (Bible-believing Christians) in the "Holy" Inquisition. Anyone who wouldn't go along with Roman Catholic paganism was burnt.  Rome is truly drunk on the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus (Rev 17:6).  Didn't Jesus tell us to LOVE our enemies (Matt 5:44)?  Rome is trying to cover up the Inquisition so that Protestants will forget about it and ecumenicalize (have unity) with them.

If you are Catholic, pray to God, the one true God of the Bible, and Him alone and not some statue made of wood and stone, pray to God, directly to God through His Son Jesus Christ, for Christ is the ONE AND ONLY mediator between God and man (I Tim 2:5, John 14:6), and ask Him to show you His truth, to show you if praying to statues and saints and Mary really please Him, if the Mass is really necessary seeing that Christ offered one sacrifice for sins forever (Heb 10:14), and that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins (Heb 9:22).  Ask Him if your "tradition" is above the Word of God.  Ask Him, and ask Him sincerely, if Roman Catholicism is of Him.

These priests "cannot contain" themselves but they are forbidden to marry (I Tim 4:3).
