Don't Grow Weary in Well Doing
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.We should endeavor to continue to pray for the lost and the backslidden, especially those we know. Do not cease praying for them.
2 Thess 3:13
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Gal 6:9
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, [God will give] eternal life:
Rom 2:7
Luke 18We should patiently endure persecution:
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;So whatever God has you doing for Him, do NOT allow your flesh, the world, and the devil to wear you down and discourage you. Rely on the Lord, don't give up, and He shall refresh you. "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day" (2 Cor 4:16) .
Rom 12:12
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
2 Cor 4:16,17
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
James 5:11
