Electrical Communications in the Bible?

Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are?

Job 38:35

The first part of this verse seems to say you can't send lightning, only God can. But how can lightning speak? How does lightning say "Here we are?" Does this refer to lightning being used for some sort of communication? Note that the lightning is sent out by God, but then tells God, "Here we are." The lightning would have to return to God to speak this to Him. Using lightning to speak? Who would have ever thought of that? How can you use lightning to communicate?

How about telephones, radio, television and the internet. Lightning is static electricity and the first form of electricicy known to man. What if God, wanting to say "electricity," told Job "lightning" because it is the only thing he would understand. Also, lightning was the only form of electricity known to the King James Bible translators.

What if God, up in Heaven, uses electricity and radio waves to communicate with the angels and the heavenly host? Lightning is similar to radio waves; both travel through air, but radio waves have a much smaller spark.

I used to think that electricity was a Satanic discovery, but reading this is helping to change my mind. It seems from this verse that electricity was a Divine invention, but that the old dragon perverted it. Satan is the "prince of the power of the air," (Eph 2:2) and, because of this verse, many Christians refused to own or use radios or TVs when they were first released. (Modern Christians would do well to take heed; the radio and TV programming is far worse today.)

Satan is also the prince of this world, but not in the beginning. Adam was given dominion over the entire earth. Likewise, Satan was not the prince of the power of the air in the beginning, either. Does this mean, that at one time, the air waves were used only for good? The devil does love to pervert the right ways of the Lord. Are our very means of electronic communication corupptions and pale imitations of God's communication? Could the Lord be using radio communication when He gives us messages throught the Holy Ghost living in us? Remember that your brain uses electrical impulses to tell your arms to move, feet to walk, and hand to write. God was using electricity long before man discovered it.
